HOMEMADE GRANOLA RECIPE
Making the most of being sick, I’ve turned into Nigella (lol I wish), but seriously I’m proud that this worked out the first time I tried /experimented it.
It only takes about an hour to make (30 mins prep, 30 mins baking).
Organic, gluten-free, dairy-free, chocolate granola, my recipe:
- 4 cups oats
- 1/3 cup chia seeds
- 1/4 cup sunflower seeds
- 1/4 cup pumpkin seeds
- 1 tea spoon cinnamon
- Chocolate nibs (v important ingredient)!
- Shredded coconut
Any other seeds/berries.. (cranberries, blueberries, apricots etc: I recommend replacing them for the chocolate).
- 4 table spoons honey
- 2 table spoons coconut oil
Or maple syrup or a different oil, whatever ya want
Mix all dry ingredients together (in a pan or bowl, non importa).
Melt honey and coconut oil in a pan together and mix well.
Combine liquid ingredients with the dry ingredients.
Transfer into a flat baking tray and bake for 25 minutes. MAKE SURE NOT TO BURN as it’s really easy to burn cook it on something like 180c.
Take out, sprinkle shredded coconut on top (again, only if ya want), bake for another 5 mins.
